Rare Opportunity to Purchase Prime Land |
Today, George F. White have announced a rare opportunity to purchase prime agricultural land at Stapleton near Darlington. The two lots of Grade 2 arable and grassland are available separately or as a whole for £470,000. In addition to farming, the plots offer further opportunities for sporting pursuits and amenity land.
Situated adjacent to the River Tees, the property extends to approximately 89.35 acres. Lot 1 is guided at £55,000 and comprises 6.17 Acres of grassland and Lot 2 is guided at £415,000 comprising 83.18 acres of arable and grassland. Both have excellent access from the public highway and are well maintained and fenced. The land has been registered for the Single Payment Scheme, and the entitlements are to be sold with the land.
As Jonathan Wallis from George F White explains, “This is extremely productive fertile land in an excellent location and is an ideal opportunity for someone to add to their existing land. Given that Lot 1 is close to the village of Stapleton, this plot may also be of interest to its residents for a paddock or as amenity land. Lot 2 also contains a pond which with further development may be suitable for duck flighting. It is very rare for land like this to come up for sale in this area and as agricultural land prices continue to rise, it is likely to be a good investment.”
The property is to be sold as a whole or in two separate lots by Informal Tender, the closing date for offers is 12 noon on Wednesday 17th March. For further details please contact the Wolsingham office of George F. White on Tel. 01388 527966.
