The Area The Holy Island of Lindisfarne is a historic and picturesque island with a charming village that has pubs and shops as well as many visitor attractions such as the ruined medieval Priory, founded by St Aidan and home of the world renowned Lindisfarne Gospels and the 16th century Castle.
