Specialist property consultancy George F. White is focused on continued growth across the North East and Yorkshire, starting the year with a new hire and six senior promotions.
Helen Bell has joined the businesses’ well established Rural Team as a Rural Practice Surveyor. Originally from Barnard Castle, Helen has always held a passion for the rural sector, having grown up on a working farm.
Based at George F. White’s Barnard Castle office, Helen will be working with rural clients and teams across the North-East and Yorkshire, with a key focus on valuation and tax.
Helen said: “George F. White is well-known in the North’s rural sector and are currently representing my family’s farm so I had first hand experience of their service levels”.
“Rural is a dynamic sector to be working in at the moment, with no two days the same. I’m looking forward to working with businesses on valuations for a range of purposes, as well as supporting clients with everything from compulsory purchase, telecom negotiations and landlord and tenant matters. I’m really excited to get stuck in.”
Sally Heath, Michael Holmes, both based in our Hexham office, have been promoted to Farm Business Consultant and Liz Rhodes who is based in our Bedale office has been promoted to Senior Rural Surveyor. Ruby Delsignore based in our Newcastle office has been promoted to GIS Analyst.

In addition to the growth in our Rural team we are delighted to recognise the efforts of Peter Elder and Alan Porter from our Architectural team who have been promoted to Senior Associate and Associate respectively.
