“It is safe to say that that weather has turned! If you have a rental property coming to the market and it is currently vacant, I would always recommend that you put the heating on, especially when viewings are due to take place as we find when showing people around it always gives a more homely feel, as well as allowing potential tenants to enjoy looking around the property and take their time (also they don’t think it will be a cold house to live in!)
It is always recommended to adequately heat your property during these cold snaps, or drain the system down of water, so that your pipes don’t freeze and cause any damage. Please do remember, if you do have any vacant properties at this time of year to visit them once a week to ensure there is no problems.”
