We are thrilled to announce that Manager Director, Sally Hart, has been shortlisted at the North East Women in Business Awards 2022 under the Leadership category. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the hard work and achievements of the fantastic businesswomen in our region.

Speaking about being shortlisted for the award, Sally said: “I am honoured to have been recognised by the WIN Awards, particularly amongst some of the other businesswomen that have been shortlisted across all of the categories!   

I sit on the George F. White LLP board and am pleased to be joined by another woman, but I’d like to see more around the table. As a young woman working in a senior role within a typically male-dominated sector, I hope I can inspire others in whatever industry they have a passion for and am committed to investing time in this. My mission is to ensure women know that anything is possible; I was able to achieve my Managing Director position without a background in the industry.

If I were to win this award, I would continue to work with women inside and outside of the business to help coach and inspire them. The platform the award comes with would give me the means to reach out to different networks and tell my story, while inspiring young women into knowing they don’t need to choose between a career and having children, they can successfully do both. I enjoy making a big impact, as it gives other people opportunities, then seeing the growth of other people from the opportunities I’ve had the privilege of providing. I believe in pushing people to achieve more than they imagined they could.”
